goals for the summer

I've been thinking about what I want to get out of this summer directed reading. for the most part, maybe I want it to be an adventure in spaces I haven't made time to adventure in yet. feminism and history, different stories about people and theory and spaces. I'm hoping to learn about our shifting sense of (global? mediated?) connectedness, about ways of sensing and mapping relationships, and about how important stories are in everything we do.

that's what I can see from here, the beginning. I'll add to my goals as I read and respond, and as my own connections and stories get added to here in the US, later in Scotland, and wherever else I end up.
